Robot = JD Drew = MVP!
The day before the All Star festivities, Tito said something to the ilk of "I think this is gonna be a game that will be talked about for years to come".....yeah he pretty much was on the mark for this. However, this is flat out ridiculous. 15 innings of WTFery that was pretty much the ugliest All Star Game I've ever seen. Bad umpiring, bad hitting from everybody not named JD Drew, Evan Longoria, or Matt Holliday, great pitching from almost everybody, bad fielding particularly from Dan Uggla(Poor kid. I really just wanna hug him and give him a giant cupcake to make him feel better), did I mention the bad umpiring? In the end the AL prevailed with JD Drew winning the MVP. I enjoy the delicious irony of everything here. My god were the Yankee fans obnoxious. Tito gave them their little dog and pony show too and they were like obsessively booing the Red Sox players ESPECIALLY Papelbon. Papelbon's words were misconstrued and let's keep in mind that context is everything and Papelbon sometimes fails at giving out the context.
Anyways I gotta get to bed. I got work in the morning and then shit to do at night(boo I miss the AAA All Star Game for stupid late night shit....I'm only doing this as a favor for a friend....though I'm merely a pawn in this grand chess game full of moronocity...if that is a word) So I'm gonna conk out and let you guys leave your comments of this game that never seemed to fucking end. I'm glad JD got MVP though :) Should've been either him or Sherrill
