Yeah I'm not entirely sure how to say something about this except that to do what Lester has done
knowing his dad has been diagnosed with cancer just makes it all the more astounding. And Tito was the only one who knew...and that hug with Tito has now been upgraded from "wibbly" to "bawling like a little bitch". That no-hitter just got a whole other level of depth. And my brother just saw Katherine Tappen and Heidi Watney on a split screen and was all like "That's a good split screen"(my brother has the hots for Tappen but he has since Tappen was on WJAR 10 a couple years ago). BTW is it just me or do Watney and Tappen look like they could be sisters? I also love that my laptop is now able to be traveled! :D
Back to ballgame matters, Jon Lester goes up against Joe Blanton this afternoon. While I HIGHLY doubt Lester will repeat his no-hitter feat since that'd be just crazy, it would be nice to see Lester have a damn goo start. He odesn't have to have a no-hitter...but just do well enough to get a win. And also, offense? SCORE. SOME. RUNS. That is all. Oh and bullpen should continue kicking some ass(except Delcarmen...he hasn't been kicking ass so he needs to start to kick ass). I really don't care for being swept, mmmkay especially when tomorrow they head into their house of horrors at Safeco. Oh and on Tuesday, Lou Merloni makes a spot on NESN's pregame show. So that is pretty bitching. Merloni is one of the few bright spots on EEI when he's on The Big Show so it should be interesting to see how he does on NESN. But first things first -- as long as the Red Sox win, life is good. Win first, everything else is second. That's the way I'll look at this ballclub.
