Holy fuck am I tired. Here's a lesson for you kiddies: Do not stay up past 3am even if you are watching sweet sweet postgame footage of champagne, dancing, cigars, and all that hulabaloo. You will pay for it...I'd go home and sleep right now but I have a midterm. Odds are I'll be out like a light tonight when I finally get to sleep. Oh I wanted to share with you guys this one thing I got from the ProJo blog, which honestly, I wanna know why the hell nobody has talked about this. What a classy gesture.
Red Sox fans who had stayed behind at Fenway Park for the post-clinching celebration stood to the sides and created an alley for the players to walk through. And as they passed, the fans applauded, making comments like, ''Good series,'' and ''Good luck next year.''
Ex-Sox right fielder Trot Nixon was the first to pass, and he seemed surprised by the ovation. The other Cleveland players passed stoically, but Travis Hafner had a smile on his face.
I'm sorry but I think people need to know about this. That's pure class right there and I really wish that people would recognize that shit. But no, we get all the shit about the whiny, obnoxious, spoiled fans bullshit. Dude, there are some, but there's others like myself and the people who did that who are part of the good ones. I hate the fucking media sometimes.
