What can I say? The kid pitched a good game.
It's really the strangest thing. This game should really piss me off and the fact that the O's are being stupid asses tonight and losing to the Yankees should send me into a state of panic in some cases. I really should be like on an edge, but honestly, I just am not. It happens, it sucks and well you lose you lose. Besides, maybe I'm just saying this mostly because I was encouraged by Wakey's start(which while he did give up 4 ER, it really wasn't that bad of a start for him all things considered). MacGowan just pitched a good game. *shrugs shoulders* It happens. Anyways some Good, Bad and Ugly for tonight.
Good: Wake looked good tonight. He gave up 4 ER, but let's keep in mind that Frank Thomas has owned him for a while so it's not entirely shocking...Bryan Corey had a solid inning of relief work...Jacoby got two hits(though he did get thrown out stretching a single into a double at one point..but it was already 6-1 at the time)...Lowell got a hit and an RBI
Bad: MacGowan pitched a damn good game tonight. Dammit....Frank Thomas hit 3 HRs tonight. He has always fared well vs the Red Sox though, so not entirely surprising...Snyder looked pretty crummy...they still lost...the hitting was almost non-existent but MacGowan had a damn good sinker going
Ugly: Nothing entirely ugly about tonight other than Frank Thomas' ownage.
I just don't know why I'm so calm over this...it's weird. Should I be panicking or what? I have no idea. *Shrugs shoulders* Ehh it's no worries here. I just gotta get this Coffee Coolata out of my system and get to sleep.
