I was out all morning so these are the news nuggets I have come across today. Apparently, it's a busy busy busy day for the Boston Red Sox. BTW I killed w/ my presentation! :D So what's the latest and greatest?

Matsuzaka is on his way back to Boston w/ Boras and the FO cronies. The deal that's being reported is 6 years, 52 million which if this is true, what a friggin deal. It's incentive laden too, so he can get up to 60 mil. And honestly, if that's true, that's one helluva deal and I commend Theo and the FO cronies for that one.

The Julio Lugo signing is official. 4 years, 36 million. Not bad. Not bad at all. I'm not too thrilled with Lugo, but I'll deal. He is a good shortstop, but I dunno at this money. Hopefully he'll make me STFU and kick some ass.

Doug Mirabelli will continue to be a stud who hits bombs in a Boston uniform. Sources say he'll be back for another year. Hopefully it's not for too much. But I'm happy. Consider this you naysayers. He'll only catch every 5 days. And we'd be screwed regardless of the backup, if Tek goes down. At least that's how I see. it. Next year, I think it'd be time for Belli to go. Kottaras should be ready by then....I hope.
That's all for now.
