Pesky Picspam and Blabbing
Reasons I fail at life lately:
*I've had LJ entries of little to no substance mostly just pointless yammering
*To show how awful I've been with keeping up w/ the Red Sox, I thought there was a game tonight when there really wasn't. Whoops
*I have school and I still need to buy some of the books(basically what I do is that since books cost an arm, a leg and your first born; I try to decipher which ones are the most necessary)
*Didn't even know that Nook Logan was on teh Nationals until recently(and I have Tiger fans on my f-list)
In other school related news, I seem to have a sort of knack for drawing. My art teacher thinks I got talent, so yay that. :) Maybe I photographize some ish I drew to be all shamelessly self promoting and egotastic. :)
Anyyyyywwwwaaaaayyyyysssss.....yesterday was Pesky's birthday. There was a fun celebration w/ cake and pole dedications. MLB.com was kind enough to provide some spiffy pictures from the ceremony so...because Johnny Pesky is made of awesome, I will showcase them!

And lookie here, Trot Nixon shows up with a special gift...an official dedication of Pesky's pole!
Pesky is all shy and like "Awww you shouldn't have"
The crowd is all "We LOVE YOU PESKY WE INSISSSTTT!"
Pesky shows his affection, pointing to the everybody and is all "You guys are made of awesome! Forrealz!"
And he ends with a tip of the cap, thanking everybody for sharing some cake and ice cream for his 87th birthday extravaganza!
