I feel I've come to realize how fast life can be compromised

Baseball just doesn't seem so important right now. Granted I still love baseball, but winning and losing just aren't hitting me that hard or making me feel too upset. They win, they win. They lose, they lose. There's far bigger fish to fry. I think the reason I can't stop thinking of this Jon Lester thing is because he's only a year older than me. This is a kid my age, and suddenly, I just don't seem that bulletproof. I tend to forget sometimes, just like everybody else, that we're all not bulletproof and things can just happen at anytime. I bought myself a Jon Lester tee actually yesterday out at Olympia Sports kind of in support. It's dorky as hell, but I just had to do it. I know he'll get by, and I know he'll be a better person for it, I just wanna help...somehow. I think I'm gonna go donate to the Jimmy Fund within the next week. I wanna get my books for school first.

Anyways the Red Sox wrap up their four game set vs the Blue Jays today. Beckett goes against Chacin. Gonz, Wily Mo, Trot, and Tek are all back(Gonz and Wily Mo are playing today) and Manny is making strides to come back, as is Papi. Also I send this to all the Manny haters out there, courtesy of the Pawtucket times(and yes, the guy to the right in that ad has an epic mullet)
