Tuesday Evening I went on my first date. I am so very happy. And it just happened to be with the prefect man. I meet Christopher at the PFLAG meeting last week. He and I got to talking and I got up to go and he handed me his number asking to go do something sometime. I wasn’t expecting it in any way. Thus we went out on Tuesday night for coffee. We just talked for 4 hours. And he was perfect in every way. He graduated last semester and has a floral business. He is looking at a job up in Phoenix as the graphic designer for a new gay magazine. He watches ALIAS. He is tall. And most of all… HE drives a 2002-03(?) Volvo s80!!! The car I have only dreamed of since the start of high school. And though I though that he was amazing I think he was board with me. And that makes sense because he is so amazingly above me. He matches his scarf to his converses. How can I compete with that? It is still exciting. I went on a date. I would like a second date but I also would like a queer friend. I now have to ask my self which I would value more and take my next action. I think I will ask him on a second date. What fun thing could I invite him to that would be good? I think something a little unconventional and more active than coffee. This is so exciting.
