Very angry thoughts

After my initial squeeing after watching 511, I've come to see that episode in a slightly different light. The "for my prince" and "I'm taking a chance on love" lines, while seemly very sweet, are very OOC for Brian. It's really Gale and Randy's chemistry and fab acting skills that pull me into the moment. Without them, QaF would be nothing.
Anyway, back to the point. Why does Justin want to get married anyway? He's only 22. 23 at most. He might want Brian to communicate and be monogamous, but since when did 22 year olds want babies and white picket fences? After re-watching season 3, I realize I miss the Justin during the Stockwell arc, and the Justin right before the Ethan arc. During those times, it was Justin in control. He had Brian on a leash, not like now and during season 4, when Justin's all mushy and willing to take all of Brian's crap.

Even so, my uncynical, girly, naive side, kept hoping that the end would be a good one. Brian would grow up, consider Justin's feelings, and make decisions based on a "we" rather than an "I". Justin would stand up for himself and be an "equal partner", and they would make it work. I already know that's not going to happen. That's why I can't bear to watch 512-513. Brian and Justin don't end up together. All Cowlip had to do was throw them together at the end. Most of the fans probably wouldn't even care if the characters were OOC or the situation was absurd, as long as Brian and Justin were together. Argh. Damn it all. I'll probably have to write a long ass bitter rant after watching 513, so I'll save the bitching for later.

One more thing. Where the fuck is Daphne? Don't you think Justin would have told her first thing?
