A brief moment in time
Today was my last day at RWM. Now you know how much I hated my job, but strangely enough, leaving it is bittersweet. I am ready for the next chapter of my life, yet I am also a little scared of what the future holds. Or maybe to be more precise, what it doesn't hold. I think I'm getting a little too gooey for my own good, so I'll stop here. I will instead choose to write about the highlights of this last day at work.
Good bye RWM, I can't say I'll miss you. Some of the people maybe, but definitely not the job.
- Hearing the story about how someone pooped in the trash can and wrapped it up in toilet paper. That story had me and my coworker bursting into giggles every 10 minutes.
- Management being angry that someone wrote: SO WHAT? on a company memo taped on the fridge. They're actually going to investigate who wrote it... what a waste of time. I just found it amusing.
- Pretty farewell flowers from a coworker
- A cup from a coworker that says: I'm not late. Everyone is just way too early! on it
- A card signed by most of the people in the freezer that I know
- Sushi for lunch
- Spending most of my time chatting on aim and google chat
- Picking up my last check at Regatta and seeing that they didn't forget to pay me for the vacation I get after 1 year of work. Bwahaha....
- Driving home knowing that on Monday I don't have to go back to a shitty job
