Ok, so the first day back to class wasn't so bad. Really I only had terrestrial diversity because my philosophy of biology prof didn't come. Which was too bad because I was actually looking forward to that class (and I had to get up early for nothing). I was not looking forward to terrestrial though, because marine diversity was such a pain in the butt. But the prof who's doing the insect section seems so amazing. She was actually talking about science being mostly theory and how she wasn't just going to tell us that "this is the way it is so believe this" she was like "ask questions about everything". This rocks because that was what frustrated me the most last term, everyone was like "well, this is what the textbook says so it's right" or "this is what the popular scientific literature says so it must be right". Yay!
Also today I bought this nifty little planner notebook with lot's of space for every day and "Dalhousie University" on the front, it's so pretty.
