Hello

May 20, 2008 17:02

It's been a while. Essays and tests and such.

I still don't have much to say though. Just been studying and writing about autism. I've been finding it harder and harder o get up for classesin the morning. I think it has something to do with the cold. Bed is so warm, and outside bed is way too cold. 7 degrees is warm. I'm so not impressed. We have the heater on in the lounge most of the time, but it's too expensive to heat the bedrooms.

Mum's coming to visit soon. On my birthday, so that will be fun. Ivan's birthday is before that though, in 7 sleeps.

Had dinner with Tony and Jess on Sunday, that was nice. We did potluck-ness. Ivan and I made risotto, and Tony and Jess made a medly of tasties, sushi, Tai soup, sirfry, that type of thing. Tony let me wach Grey's anatomy on his TV, so I was happy.

I'm getting really tired these days, too many late nights and school work. I'm really sick of the maths. I'm loking forward to nex semester when I will only be doing classes I enjoy (Hopefully...). I'm a bit dissapointed with the applied Psychology section of psyc 202. I was kinda hoping that it would be like, here's a case study, and here's how we apply our knowledge of psychology to it. But instead it's about technology, and human interaction with it. Which is a little interesting, but compared to what I thought it would be... I'm just hoping that next semester will be awesome to make up for it. The good news is that I'm sill really enjoying Developmental Psych, so I still keen to take that further.

Oh, and I got an A+ for my research proposal! I was so proud. And i was an Otago grade A+, not a silly Canterbury one. I got 90%, which is boarderline A+, but Canterbury's A+ starts at 85%. If I was at Canterbury, I would have got high A's for all my papers last year. Sucks.

Well, Ivan and I have to go make dinner now. I'm sure you were all thrilled by my ramblings.

Home on the 17th.
