Concert registration + Parents' Day

May 16, 2009 16:33

This was one hell of a tiresome week. Long exhausting days, Bones' deceiving season final, one boring project and parents' day. The latter was really cool.

Parents' day

All the parents of the first-year student were invited for a day at college. I was one of the day's volunteers, so I took care of the lunch and, in the afternoon, I guided a group of ten parents troughout our college life. Inlcuding a case study, experiment and a quick glance on several cool laboraties, e.g. the cell lab and the tissue lab. Of course, we ended the day with a drink in 'In Vivo', our study society Protagoras' very own bar, siuated in the cellar of our faculty. After the official program, I went eating with my foaks in Eindhoven. It was really nice.

Concert registration
Finally. It took the producer almost half a year, but it is ready: a nice live registration of our annual concert in Oudenbosch. I must admit, it sounds a lot better than I expected. Here are some samples, hope you like it!

Band

  • Hard to Handle (with crappy intro shizzle (improvised half an hour before xD))
  • Sir Duke (awesome specials! Except Joost just bought a new trumpet, so his play was not perfect as usual [a] )
  • I'm Yours (featering the group)

Groep

  • I Wish (I love this song, notice Maarten's magnificent bass play)
  • Just a Flirt (don't mind the group's start, that's just aweful =/ )
  • So What! (I actually hate this song, but it sounds okay

Thanks to Mark and Ton for putting so much work in this registration. Well done guys! Just one last thing. Nouk, Rob, Kirsten, and all other folks who has to endure the three-week-long torture they use to call exams: Good Luck! You know you can do it, fellas.
