Samhain Altar~

Hi all, my name's Willow!! I've been watching this community for awhile but this is my first post here :)

Last Friday when I went home I couldn't wait to dig into my Halloween decorations. I had alot of fun putting out my things.  I also managed to dig up a photo f my very first Halloween altar.

the whole piece does a nice job as a "stealth" altar (since it sounds like that's necessary for your situation-it could look like a "seasonal display" :)

This is exactly what I was going for! Pagan but not overtly Pagan, ya know? It sucks but yea, that's what's needed right now. I live with my mom and she's a Christian. I tried to tell her about my interest in paganism years ago but it went over like the proverbial lead balloon. I try to do what I can to advance my spirituality while not offending her...or creating utter mayhem in the house in the process.

Hehe I advise you to do it! It really shows you how far you've come along your path. Atleast that's what it did for me.

I try to keep pictures of all my altars just for this purpose. As a sort of scrap book of my spiritual journey ya know?

I did the same...it's interesting to see how the altar changes over time, how it reflects your understandings (and your decorating style!)
