Updates are going to be a little short on the ground for a while. We moved into a real apartment complex...it's a low-income place but it's not bad. My overall payment of rent will be decreasing. There's central air conditioning which means the climate control can keep up with the climate (the window AC at the cabin would run for DAYS on end trying to hold things down to 75, and that was with all lights off, all blinds and curtains shut, etc, and the best it managed was about 84 or so.)
Still not a lot of news on job prospects. The tax refund thing got straightened out, three months later, so I am trying to communicate with the garage and GET MY DAMN CAR BACK. We also have broadband...wiring only supports ~1.6 meg a sec but that's coming up from 1.6K a sec and isn't that expensive.
Trying to make it work. Still alive and healthy, if not exactly successful.
