Today we made pumpkin cookies at school.  I love cooking with the kids.  We learn new vocab ("recipe", "ingredients", "zest"), learn how to measure, count and mix, we talk about the terms "whole", "half", and "quarter" and the children get an opportunity many of them don't get in their own households.  Cooking with a few kids can be tough.  With 21 ( Read more... )

So I'm out of the habit of posting, but I really think that if I just did it, I would feel better about the world.  At this point, there is so much to say, I'm just going to start from scratch.
