Today is Sokka's 2nd birthday! I cannot believe that he has been with me for two years--I cannot imagine not having him in the house. Here are several pictures from his celebration. My mom even made a cake (he had his own treats).

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  Hopefully this year will be better than the last.  =)

I finally have a teaching job!!!  I am now a kindergarten teacher at a school in Gainesville.  =)

I go tomorrow to start setting things up and on Monday is when all of the other teachers come back.  This school is where I did my long term sub job last year in the spec ed preschool.  I have no idea where to start tomorrow, but at least I am now ( Read more... )

Well I am off to Otakon--I'll be leaving around 9:00 am.  My strategy is to get there early, wait in the long line for my badge, check into the hotel, get into costume and go to the convention.  I'm not waiting in four hour lines this year for seiyuu autographs--the ones that are coming are not worth the wait to me.

I've been busy with school work but I will finally be done with my graduate degree in a month (Graduation is May 16).  Yeah!  Now all I need is a permanent job!  =)
