Dear Journal,

Today wasn't as boring as yesterday, since all my classes were shortened for the assembly schedule. After spending 40 minutes per class, the assembly came during period 4. It was a holiday music assembly, where the band and other music groups show their new songs and projects. I sat there, listening to their music for an hour, and the music was great...until stupid bunch of people clapped along with a uneven beat. In my mind I was saying 'Shut the fuck up!' but those morons wouldn't. Well, at least I saw a cool drum line thingy, and that was really fun. 5th period, English with Mr.Hiatt. I had to present my presentation...doh! I did my book report on a book called "All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Remarque or whatever. Everybody loved my book report, because mine had realistic background pictures and sound effects. I got the sound files from a computer game, if anyone wants a hint. That period passed, and in chemistry, we did a lab. It was dumb, but easy...so it's all right, right? Lunch and 7th period wasn't special, so I'll skip that. After school, I helped Coach Fegan out at the swim gym...as always. I put the goals in, took out the lane lines, picked up the balls, etc. At least I survived that period of time. Samantha almost pulled me in the water and she gave me heart attack, and Saori tried to soak all my clothes...again...and she did it...arghh. But I learned a good lesson today in school today. I slowly realized that people's responses in conversations and other social interactions are much more fun and happy if I smile and talk in a lighter tone of voice. Now, I'm pretty used to smiling and making my low-tone voice higher. I think I'll try harder with that. Finally, this saturday, I'm going to see the screening of Peter Pan...there might be a party too, oooh...
