L O V E
hey guys... i was just sitting here... and thinkin, here's an attempt at writing a poem... comment guys and tell me wat ya think:
What is love?
for many years i thought i knew what love was,
i thought i had a clear picture, a definition like in a dictionary under "L",
until one day I was asked to describe what love is to me,
i had no words, no description,
the vision was clear in my mind but no words came out.
and thats when i realized,
love is that exact feeling,
you feel love,
but there are no words to define its magnitude.
you cant explain love to a person,
you cant write it down,
you feel love with every heart beat, with every breath, with every step, with every day.
and when you say the words i love you,
the only thing that you can hope for is that the person ur saying it to feels the same way...
im not defining love by writing this,
im simply explaining that you cant...
its impossible to explain the single greatest thing human beings can feel,
people ask questions like what is the meaning of life,
and here's your answer,
you don't need a meaning for life, as long as you have somebody to live it with,
someone who cares for you, someone who would do anything for you, someone who would die for you, but most of all someone that would love you just as much as you love them.
love is a gift, not from god, not from any higher being, but from another person,
only another person can give u such a gift, a gift worth more than gold,
a gift that people cant live without,
for if one does not love, one does not live.
