Ride a painted pony wild..
So today, Sunday, is actually Canada Day, but because banks and government wouldn't get an extra day off, Monday July
2 becomes the extension of the holiday weekend, so we actually get a day off! So which is the Canada Day celebration?
Today or tomorrow? For all us debt slaves, let's just call it a weekend!
This is not Mexicana, this is not Americana, this is Canada!

Plans for Canada Day : kick off work early on Friday, get supplies for BBQ and beer or wine and settle in for a long weekend.
If you wish to get political, let's just call it Mexicanaday! If you really thing about confederation and the aboriginal origins
of our country, then you might want to bang a drum today!
Mique’l Dangeli has started a petition calling on the Canadian government to reciprocate the Jay Treaty, which was signed
between the United States and Canada in 1794.
O Canada, our home on native land...
“For me, what I consider home is my home community and my people’s traditional territory, which is northern B.C.,” she said,
“We’re not immigrants to our people’s traditional territory.” - Mique’l Dangeli belongs to the Tsimshian First Nation,
whose territory straddles the border between Alaska and British Columbia Canada.
https://www.thestar.com/vancouver/2018/06/30/indigenous-woman-being-forced-to-leave-country-on-canada-day-fights-to-stay.html Mique’l Dangeli working to revive a threatened language in her traditional territory of northern British Columbia says she’s
being forced to leave the country as her American visa runs out on Canada Day. She says Canada won’t recognize her dual citizenship
and right to live and work in B.C. because she was born on the American side on Annette Island Indian Reserve. Dangeli gave up
a tenure-track position with the University of Alaska Southeast to teach 65 students how to speak Sm’algyax in the community
of Kitsumkalum, just outside of Terrace, because there are so few fluent speakers remaining. “The colonial border between the
U.S. and Canada dissects Indigenous territories in ways that sever the lifelines between First Nation families, communities,
languages and ceremonies,” Dangeli’s petition says.

"Canada" (also known as "Ca-na-da" or "The Centennial Song", French version "Une chanson du centenaire") was
written by Bobby Gimby in 1967 to celebrate Canada's centennial and Expo 67, and was commissioned by the Centennial
Commission (a special Federal Government agency). The song was written in both of Canada's official languages,
English and French.

The song's recording was performed by the Young Canada Singers, two groups of children - one that sang the French lyrics,
led by Montreal conductor Raymond Berthiaume, and another that sang in English, under conductor Laurie Bower in Toronto.
