WHOOPEEDOO.
Last year around this time, I thought I was the happiest girl on earth. This year, I've been proven to feel even happier than ever (: Although my birthday always falls around the dreaded exams, but I still feel loved despite exam stresses and all. Its merely 4 days to my 21st, and I've already gotten 2 surprises and it just makes me smileeee from deep within and I loveloveee them!
Zhenhong and I decided to celebrate my birthday a little earlier tonight because sunday I'll be having brunch with my family and heading back to hall to study straightaway. And tomorrow morning I have tuition so we both decided its best we head out for a nice meal today instead.
He was all secretive about where he was bringing me and all hahaha it was so annoying but exciting at the same time. (: I always give away my surprises before it happens. Something I should learn not to do! Anyways, we went down to IMM because he said he needed to go collect my present. And I was really excited about it but he refused to tell me what he got. Had pepper lunch for lunch and then during lunch time, he said he'll give me my present only on the 14th itself. But I pestered and he gave in hahaha.
I was shocked beyond words when he took this out of his bag. Presenting... Cora.
Cora is damn chio can. I really didnt expect this lah, and I think he must have spent a bomb. I gushed like no tomorrow and I think I must have looked really silly. But what the heck, I finally have my own camera!! And a chio pink one at that! (: Thanks baby. I really loveeee it.
We went to bugis thereafter to catch Definitely, Maybe. It was great too, haha everyone loves a romantic comedy. And we had free shaw tickets anyway! So it was all the better. Dinner was at Ma Maison after that. Its a Japanese-western restaurant. Just nice for the both of us since he doesnt really dig Japanese food while I'm a fan. Basically its like western cuisine cooked in a Japanese way? There were many Japanese people there as well, I kinda felt like I was in mini Japan. Even the lady boss was Japanese, and she kinda looked like Makiyo sensei from my Jap class.
I wished I could have taken a picture of the food but Cora haven't charge yet hahaha. It was yumyums anyway. (: Yay happy day. I still can't believe I'm turning 21 soon.
Oh when I got home, I saw a letter to me! And its a birthday card from Charlene all the way from Aussieland lah. (: Babe, I'm very touched lor!! Thank you so much! I miss seeing your handwriting haha though that sounds a little weird. Can't wait for you to get back (: School's different without you.
Alright I think I'm gonna sleep soon.
PS: I just read a friend's blog when she was sec 2. And it was hilarious. I kinda lost track of time and read it and couldnt take my eyes off the blog. I was kinda transported back to sec 2 and all the memories came back. Which is why when I'm typing this I kinda need to adjust. I kinda feel like I'm a secondary school student again. LOL. So silly.
