WHEE.
Today's training for netball was shortened by an hour and we trained from 1.30pm to 4pm. Prior to that I had ISG volleyball where the other team (I don't know which school) didn't turn up and we had a walkover! Played a friendly game with whoever was present at that time (: Was kinda fun, and it earned me a t shirt! (:
Anyways. After training Chun had a brilliant plan to drive us all down to Jean's place for dinner where we showed off our culinary skills! Jinzhen, me, Zhenhong, Chun and Jean went to the nearby Sheng Siong to get the groceries and headed back to Jean's lovenest.
Her place is filled to the brim with love and it can be seen on every wall, every room, even their cups at home bear their love for each other. From handmade gifts Jon gave to her on their 4th month, to the framed pseudo newspaper report of their marriage, which Jean painstakingly made for Jon, it was so heartwarming to see the proof of their love.
Albeit they went through much difficulty to get married at a young age, but it just goes to show that nothing is impossible. And yes its fucking painstaking to plan a wedding and the money spent is crazy, but its just nice to see them settling down, knowing this is what they want and this is what they're working for, working towards, together.
We cooked chicken wings, oyster sauce and baby cai xin, fish ball and mushroom dumpling soup, and rice. Dessert was canned longans and aloe vera. Super full now can. But I enjoyed myself! A change from our usual dinners, a home cooked meal was most invitingly sweet (:
Tomorrow I'll be up to my neck in sports. Morning at 9am is my netball game against Hall 12, then following that at 11am is the ISG volleyball game. Then at 3pm is the netball ISG games... two games back to back. and finally at 7.30pm there's volleyball training.
Not to mention our friendly with Sheares Hall @ NUS on wednesday night! Busy busy!
