SO, after two weeks of freaking out that I was being moved at work because I wasn't good enough, my fears were totally laid to rest.
P, a coworker, heard my manager talking to the 2IC of the office... and, quote/unquote, the move is 'because I'm too smart'....

Lots of things have happened since my last post.

Monday: frantically busy at work. Mourning the loss of the weekend
Tuesday: shit day at work. Console myslef by buying a Supernatural mug from Minotaur.
Wednesday: frantically busy at work. Start promising myself a HUGE sleepin when the weekend rolls round

ALL the trains went down today. ALL of them. 400,000 commuters affected directly. And with no replacement buses, that meant trams were the only mode of transport. Or bikes, or cars/taxis. Every single freeway was at a crawl, and most people didn't get into work on time.

Including me. I start at 8.30.... I made it in at 10.30.

We're finally here, in freezing cold and bloody windy Melbourne! Though my old town's been hit with a cold snap that has the thermometre hovering at aorund 5 degrees, tops, so I can't complain!

It's been a busy month and a half, that's for sure...
