Nick is here now. Life is good.

Nick arrived the morning of July 4th. Since then we have been constantly doing stuff. It has been great. We spend our time walking to the beach, laying out, taking the bus downtown, going to movies, and going out to eat. We are also working hard to pay back my dad for paying for Nick's ticket. This means two hours of random chores every morning. The first day we washed bat dung off the house. After that it has been mostly laundry, dishes, and painting stuff around the house. It is way good to have Nick here. Now I do not feel so alone and isolated and I have someone to share this experience with. I'm happy. Next Tuesday a group of 40 high school and college students are coming on a missions trip here to run an English camp, so this means more people my age! I am way excited for it. It will be fun to finally have some english speakers around. Going to church in Portuguese every week is getting tough. My family will be hosting 8 of the team in our home. It should be a good time.
