starting early... and seeking advice

Ok, I know 24, is FAR from early to be finally moving out of your parents' house.. But what I mean is that it's early in the year, and my goal this year is to get moved out of here and moved in with a room-mate or two (or three) by the end of the year. No one in particular, yet.. I just want to make sure it's with friends that I'm sure I'll get along with.. In other words, anyone :P

First off... most places that are decent cost between 500 and 700. That all depends on size, location, and utilities and what not.

Most places now.. want about.. two months rent in advance, one more for a security deposit, and that you held a job for 3 months and that you make about... twice as much as your rent is. But.. if you have a roommate, that shouldn't be a concern. And I know the 3 month things no problem for you.

Try Rent.com. It's a nice place to start. And... if you can.. get water and electricity included. That's huge help, but a bit hard to find together and with other things people want.

Oops. I meant to say.

I know what Joe was going at. Depending on what kind of furniture you have... look for a place that can accommodate it. Or.... you may not have enough and will need to save for that and find "donations" from peeps.
