Gundam invokes Godwin's Law.
I recently finished watching Gakkou no Kaidan. The final episode was pretty good, though I wish they'd given us a reason why it was all over. And the cat was fine! So glad about that; it's horrible when masters and pets are separated. If there was one thing which would have improved this series, it's a continuous plot. Being so episodic, I was never particularly eager to move on to the next episode. Also, the characters and story were clearly targeted toward kids (say 10 years old), but there were a lot of pantie shots. I suppose it's better than fart jokes all the time.
As for a certain other series I just finished ... it was rather rushed and could have used a longer denouement, but I'm aware that the show got cut short and the producers were forced to rush to conclude the series 9 episodes early.
I recently started reading an epic fantasy by Terry Goodkind. So far, there have been three viewpoint characters, all of whom have have the minds of 13 year olds, or so it seems. Apparently, it's his first novel, so perhaps he improves - there's no other way he could have gotten so popular (on the other hand, look at Twilight ...). I guess I'll see.
