LANDLORDS SUCK.
sooooo... our new apartment has a gas leak. its the first night we are supposed to be sleeping there and we can't because of a friggen gas leak. why the hell does it seem like something ALWAYS goes wrong in situations like this? im just sad because dana is upset about it and we spent the entire day trying to fix things and our landlady already SUCKS HUGELY... all of the paint on the cabinets and windows was still wet so everything is jammed shut... the drawers wont open and the windows wont close.. and there are no locks or screens or curtains on ANY of the windows so we basically have to change in a closet until she installs the "new" ones which will probably never happen. AHH I want to hit her! i just hate how people take advantage like that when they know you dont have a lot of experience with something.. its such an awful thing to do... like we won't find the gas leak after we've already signed the lease??? kind of coincidental. i am reeeally annoyed. sorry for the ranting, this probably is an unnecessary place to do it.
i just wish things would be easy. and dana's mom kept talking about what a shithole it was and that made me kind of sad too. i mean, it was built in like 1885 so yeah, not everything is going to be brand new but that's what i think it cute about it. so what if the floors slope down in all different angles and the bathroom latches because the door doesnt close and we have a heater that is like 1000 years old and probably emits toxic carbon monoxide fumes. haha *sigh*
