Today, something is in my head.
I'm not sure what. Maybe I'm just trying to think of everything. It certainly feels like a pile. But it also feels like I'm on autopilot: I'm faced with getting up, and I get up and I can respond to internet stuff, but I can't ass myself to clean my apartment. I'm faced with CHinese class, and I go to Chinese class, and I listen and remember words, and understand stuff, but draw doodles, and can't read aloud worth beans. I'm faced with my afternoon class, and I know I will go to class, and I will have a perfectly fine class (they're presenting stuff today anyway), and then I will come back, and?
Well, I should study. We've got dictation practice in my Chinese class tomorrow. And I should speak to a friend tonight, since I won't get another chance for a week or more. And I should do or think of writing things. And I should write several people notes. And I should clean my apartment. And I should get on with grading.
I just feel like my brain is in first gear. And if I try to go up to second gear, I can, but the stick pops back into first. And forget third entirely.
All I feel capable of is abstract thought, despite that reality has things it wants me to do NOW.
I'll have a tutor tomorrow, so that'll kick me into action then. But today: class, then study. That's my goals. And writing-thinking if I am able to.
