this is the :D entry!
-- spent the last two weeks ridic busy!~ The TEFL class has been taking over the times of my day when people (see: friends, parents, broh-ther, everyone) are generally able to socialize, and so on the days when I am as available as they, I generally jump at the chance and Am Social for hours upon end.
-- this includes hanging out a whole lot with historicula! Which has been awesome, let me tell you. Lots of story-talk and Chinese talk. Also, watching Red Cliff. (I am a Zhuge Liang fangirl! I am not afraid to admit it! I am a bit of a dork.)
-- Waterford fair! A cute little town fair in a rather small town up in the middle of farm country. 19th century cosplayers re-enactors everywhere! Caramel apples and lemonade and fudge and elderberry/chocolate syrup and handmade soap and carved things and papercuttings and dulcimer bands and twangy music and good music and hay bales and lamb sausage and :D all around!
-- A SLEEPOVER. Had one with two friends from school! Brought supplies to make gajar halwa (see link for recipe!), a pretty much fantastic carrot-and-cardomom pudding. Made halwa. Consumed halwa. Consumed drinks. Played cards. Talked for hours (see f-locked entry to follow). Fell asleep around 3.45 on the couch and woke several times, to weird dreams and to roommates having blithe, loud baking adventures in the kitchen behind the couch.
So yeah. That is the last few weeks and days! TEFL, social, and a lot of Doing Stuff.
