Today was a good day!
So, today I finally got my degree results. After almost a month of worrying about totally screwing up the last few pieces of work and two exams, I can happily say that I will be graduating next month with a 2:1 (which is the second highest "grade" you can get)
I am genuinely so happy about this, as I was hoping for a 2:1 (I never expected to get a First, I am not that smart :D) and after sitting my exams, I was sure that they would bring down the good grades I got for the essays in both modules - as expected the exam I took the Tuesday straight after Asylum 6 was...not a bad mark, nor the worst I've got during the past three years, but the lowest for this year. Strangely, the other one was actually slightly higher than the essay...no idea what happened there!
And the dissertation, got an overall 67 (a 2:1 all of its own!) :D So I'm very happy about that! Which would not have been half as good without the fandom and those who participated in the questionnaire, thank you ♥ Oh and Misha, can't forget him ;)
When I told my parents...I may have cried a little bit. I think it's partly down to how proud and happy for me they sounded/are, I have horrible fear of failure when it comes to my parents - no doubt stemming from when I have not done as well academically as I am capable of in the past. So I was a big girl and got choked up when they called XD
I'm ignoring the scary part now, which is job hunting and the "What the hell do I do now?!" phase - mostly because I've had a potential prospect to gain more experience in one area of the media sector fall apart quite badly...I'll save that for a later entry.
Sorry to all those who follow me on twitter, you've heard all this already and probably want me to shut up already :D I promise I will....eventually.
