i realize that you were trying to protect me
that you were just relating your past experiences to mine
but imagine if you were a mexican and you read that

or imagine if the boy that i just so happen to be infatuated with, at the moment, was mexican

that might cut an innocent person really deep
just because of something that might have happened to you

i was just offended and disappointed to hear something like that from you.
