Today I decided to take a quick visit to my backyard (aka the arboretum) to take some photos of all the Spring flowers that have begun to bloom...I ended up staying over 1 1/2 hours. I love just getting lost in there and taking it all in. It was a nice warm day, and lots of couples and families were walking around. The sky was perfect for cloud-gazing. It was just one of those days where you're walking along and suddenly find yourself smiling.
The last photo shows two birds of paradise intertwined. I thought it was really cool how they were intertwined in such an artsy-yet-natural way...clearly something that would evoke a title reminiscent of love.
I've been in a really good mood lately despite how busy I've been with everything. I could easily complain about all the work I have, but it's so much more pleasant and less stressful doing it while focusing on the better things going on. Some things still bug me, but in perspective, life's pretty good. If today doesn't work out, like my master teacher says, "there's always tomorrow."
