Today has been interesting. I'm still at camp. Today was the penultimate full day of the last session. I still ran swimming games (today was a sinking chair with noodles race) like normal all day, but 3 of the 4 waterfront staff had to go boating with the youngest, noisiest campers who don't listen. We did pretty well--but we had to leave the boating pond early because everyone on camp had to do a lice check before dinner. This is the second round of lice this summer! I've managed to keep away from them, but I'm really paranoid now, and want to get checked again on the 16th before we leave camp. We have 12 people with lice this time including one waterfront staff, the horse director, and one of the assistant directors. What a scare! Today, I've been exhausted all day. I think I'm at the breaking point where I need a day to sleep in or fall on my face. I leave on the 16th, then my cousin and his mom are coming to visit from Germany on the 17th. I'm so excited, but I also just can't wait to leave. I'm so done with camp for the summer. I miss my family and my friends.
