Not going to see HBP
I've decided I am not going to go to HBP when it hits the theatres this month. Perhaps it's petty, and perhaps my gesture means nothing, but I am pissed the hell off still that the studio opted to shelve the finished movie for eight months just because they thought they could squeeze a few more dollars out of the summer box office. The hell with them. They are not getting my money. I'll watch a crappy pirated, downloaded version before I dig into my wallet on their account. I do *want* to go see it in the theatre, of course, but that sort of corporate greed and disregard for the people who provide their income just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know if anyone will agree with me on this, or stand up beside me, but just maybe if enough people do, we can make them say "ouch" just a little. Anyone? Or am I talking to myself?
