Thought maybe I'd ease on back into the groove of posting here. We'll see how it goes.

Blake, Shawn and I are driving up to Virginia on Friday to catch a GWAR show in Richmond. It's my first GWAR concert experience and I've been told I should be prepared to get messy. Then we're going to have dinner at tyrantvirus's house on Saturday, so I should probably ( Read more... )

oh god i didn't know you were going to see gwar

stay in the back

far in the back

i know you, you'll fucking hate the show unless you stay FAR IN THE BACK. like, stay out in the parking lot, even.

edit; no, seriously, i can't stress this enough. i've never been to a more violent show in my life. dan and mike almost got trampled from being in the front of a gwar show. getting messy in a gwar show isn't like getting messy at a gallagher show where it's all "oh teehee the performer's throwing stuff at us." yeah, there's that, but a lot of the mess comes from grass, dirt, and other people's blood. it's a giant mosh pit with a bunch of people who are fucked up on SOMETHING and will not be apologetic for what they've done.

STAY OUT OF THE FRONT OF A GWAR SHOW. YOU WILL DIE.

edit edit; SERIOUSLY. if you can't handle being hit HARD and hitting people back TWICE AS HARD, stay as far away from the stage as you can.

edit edit edit; ok i'm done.

edit edit edit edit; NO WAIT NO I'M NOT. WHY ARE YOU GOING TO A GWAR SHOW. GWAR SHOWS ARE COMPLETELY ANTITHETICAL TO EVERYTHING I'VE EVER ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR PASSIVE NATURE.
