Thought maybe I'd ease on back into the groove of posting here. We'll see how it goes.
Blake, Shawn and I are driving up to Virginia on Friday to catch a GWAR show in Richmond. It's my first GWAR concert experience and I've been told I should be prepared to get messy. Then we're going to have dinner at
tyrantvirus's house on Saturday, so I should probably prepare to get messy again. Sunday means home.
All told, it's going to be a 16-hour drive with nothing to look at but farms, trees and tree farms. I'm bringing the essential survival tools like my DS, iPod and a couple books. But I'm wondering if I can't talk Blake into letting me play
Ship's Mast on some dusty back road. Not kidding. I bet he'll put the kabbash on that in two seconds flat, though.
I was just thinking the other day about all the outlandish stuff I wanted to do when I was still a teenager like dreadlock my hair and get an eyebrow piercing or tattoos. Now I feel like a doddering old lady and I'm only 24. It'd be nice to do something to remind myself why life is so awesome, even if it means getting a little reckless. Adrenaline is a helluva drug.
