insanity
so i went home on tuesday. it was nice to go home for a few days and not worry about anything. i got to spend some quality time with corey and dustin (wow i went to type dustin and wasnt looking at the keyboard and i typed dube...weird) and it was just good. i also had lunch with my neighbor laura for her birthday. and speaking of birthdays corey and dustin chipped in to get me my birthday present. GUITAR HERO II! im so excited to actually start playing! and i ordered a second guitar for corey for his birthday which ended up coming in the mail on thursday and he loved it.
me and corey went to ithaca yesterday for the day. we walked around downtown and went to the mall to kill time until his friend joey finally stopped being a tool and was able to get in touch with us. we got thai food for dinner and it was orgasmic. and we hung out playing guitar hero and went to the bar at night. went for pizza after the bar. walked up this enormous fucking hill instead of taking the shuttle back. ended up staying up til 6AM watching a movie and talking with corey joey and katie. woke up at 10 after sleeping on a loveseat. rode back to dallas. packed quick. drove to philly. quick shower. worrrrrrrrrk.
so when i got back from work tonight (which i dont want to talk about because it sucked a lot because people are assholes but i got a $280 paycheck!) i was checking my email from the past few days. apparently i won some sort of honor in the math department and get to go to some reception in the fall? i apparently am the recipient of the most promising math major award. well hot damn! this is completely unexpected and really kinda cool. i wonder if ill get a scholarship for it or anything...
OH more news! i forgot to talk about this the other day. WE HAVE A HOUSE FOR NEXT YEAR! next year i will be living at 1416 willington street with dube, mark, laura, margaret, and gina. and we couldnt be much more excited! its a 6 bedroom place being completely rehabbed right now. 3 full bathrooms. only like 3 blocks from campus. good price. very nice landlord. we are stoked. i cant wait for august 1st!
and im spent. since it is 3AM and i am running on 4 hours of sleep and 4 1/2 hours in the car and 8 hours of work. oh and i have work again in less than 7 hours...
