so...
so last night we had two random guys walk into our cabin at around 1am, and rae forgot to lock the door...
it turned out it was just australian flloyd moving in his friend that had just gotten in from the airport who is working in conference. it was funny:
Rae: (shoots straight up in bed) Who the fuck is that!!!
Flloyd:Is this cabin 4?
Rae: no fucker its fucking cabin 3!
Floyd: ohok sorry
Rae: Is that you floyd?
Floyd: yea, sorry guys...
it was funny because i have never seen a little new zealand girl be so mean. she is tiny, but she is tough as hell you can tell...
not much going on lately...
ok, but i have gotten a taste of what customer service is like. all the people that come here are fucking soccer moms with their rich husbands and their spoiled ass kids. me and laura were walking yesterday and were overhearing a conversation about how a guys kid didn't pass a swimming test so he could swim in the deep end...
random dad: oh well this is bull. he was doing the breaststroke and they just didn't like his form. its bull really because he is a good swimmer...
mark was doing a lot of the swim tests yesterday, but was not passing a lot of the kids. why? BECAUSE THEY CAN'T SWIM AND THEY WILL DROWN IF THEY SWIM IN THE DEEP END! plain and simple folks. if on the second lap the kid is struggling, mark gives them the buoy and tells them to try next time or just that they don't pass. parents don't understand that if the kid starts drowning when they shouldn't be in the deep end anyway, the lifeguard who wrongfully passed them in a test has to save them. for example, a little girl accidentally got into the deep end yesterday and started drowning, and katrina had to save her. people are just so stupid. also, we have a group of long distance swimmers coming in tomorrow to swim a mile in the open lake. eek, the lifeguards have to watch people in open water. i know tomorrow is going to be crazy because they put me on working the boathouse, which means that all the lifeguards are going to be on the water and most of program doing the renting of paddleboats and such. oh well.
