Updates!
Eat less: Ate a lunch either at/from home everyday this week, except today. But it was the Sonoran fish tacos from La Salsa, which are less than 500 calories. So I'm feelin' okay about it.
Move more: A broken AC really cramped my style. When it's 105 outside, you just kinda feel like oozing. And having warm knitting on your lap sucks too. But on the "go me" side, I got exercise everyday expect yesterday. Thursday, Saturday, and Tuesday I had karate; Friday and Sunday I walk/ran 1.4 miles in accordance with my physical therapy. Monday and today I rode my bike to and from school (3 miles one way). Yesterday, my knee demanded a day off.
So the scale this week shows: 166 lbs. Turns out last week the scale wasn't calibrated right, and Joe adjusted it after weighing himself on the wii fit. So I'm actually not sure what my starting point was.
Things to think about for the next step:
Beat the heat. I can gear myself up to work out, but other than that I'm just oozy and lazy. Need to get more movement into my daily routine. Packing up to move should help with that.
Fidget eating. I tend to eat something if it's in arms reach. I need to figure out something to do at parties and game nights when the snack bowl is next to me. Half the time I don't realize I've been munching. Gum seems like an okay idea, but then I don't want to be smacking during conversations. How uncouth.
