Blue Birds
I saw Brokeback Mountain today.
All of you who are able, go and see it.
(But dont wear eyeliner, like i did, because i was crying by the end and...yes...)
Funny enough, we ended up having seats RIGHT next to a school teacher of ours. That was....interesting. And there was this other lady on the other side of us who was telling everyone off. But we ignored both parties. The point is...That film was really really good.
I had already read it, as i've mentioned before, which i think actually spolied it a tiny bit. It was still fantastic, but maybe you should read it after watching it.
That's my suggestion anyway.
My only criticism is the make up job. Jake had too much eyeliner on in the first few scenes, and they didnt look as though they aged particuarly well in some shots. But being shot out of sequence, it would have been difficult to get it totally perfect the whole way. Otherwise, beautiful story, beautifully shot, beautiful score, beautiful characters, and beautifully directed. It was really good.
So...
Go and See it!
