Okay....had a show at Ailey tonight
I had my first show since Jane's pice at Ailey tonight.....it went okay.....I was on my leg....hahahahhaa. James took me to get a drink and he was like "I came to see you cuz it was hard for people from Opus to get a ticket." He's growing on me....he went from being not standing able to being a really big sweetheart and he's working with like EVERYONE! Who would have thought ME and JAMES PIERCE hanging out? um, no! But, yeah.....He's cool peoples.
This little girl came up to me today and told me that she had a bad evaulation. She was so damn cute and I asked her why and she told me cuz she doesn't pay attention and I asked her if she was coming back next summer and she said yeah. And then I was like "well, you know what you gotta do, right?" I asked her if she really wanted to dance? and she said yeah and I told her that she has a whole year and then she can come back and werk it out. I see "teacher" approaching......I see "mentor" approaching.....and thats intresting and scary for me because I never thought I would do something like that. But I see so many kids who need that mentor....that someone who can tell them that they ARE good and that they need to keep working and do this and do that and use this and use that and throw away what they feel doesn't work for them. Don't listen to everyone.....Not everyone has your best intrest at heart....do you. Be YOU first and formostand your dancing will become that much better.
How can I survive in life not doing what I love to do?
