My life finally has a direction. WOO!
After many, many years of umming, ah-ing, bimbling, slacking and being generally useless, I have finally decided what I want to do with this life of mine.
Currently, I am doing what is essentially an Art and Design Diploma. When that is done, I will do a Textiles A-level, then go on to a specialist course - possibly at Townley Hall or Bretton Hall, which I believe are both associated with the Royal College of Needlework.
Can you see where this is going?
That's right - I want to be a conservationist and restorer of antique textiles. An expert.
Feels good to have something to aim at, at last.
