Slawth 'n' Jawbs
All my school stuff is finished. I've been enjoying a vacation of sorts, playing lots of computer D&D (Neverwinter Nights 2).
My first character was the munchkin-o-matic 4 fighter/1 bard/10 red dragon disciple/5 frenzied berserker. Admittedly, that character never died once the whole game, although came close several times. However, the character was not nearly as uber as I was led to believe. Most notably, I was led to believe that character would be able to one-hit-kill everything in the final dungeon; not true at all! In fact, the character had significant troubles even hitting things in the final dungeon. If I was doing something wrong, it was those people's faults, because I followed their character build as close to the letter as I could.
So, I'm supposed to be looking for a job now. Looks like I'm a latecomer again! Before it was with Java. Now the majority of job ads I see want experience with C# and ASP.NET, neither of which I have any experience using at all. Rrrrrrr! Visual Basic experience also seemed to be retain some demand. Guess I should be learning those things.
