New developments

Well, that backlog of grading is finally finished. I knew there'd be a lot, but what I didn't count on, and what took at least half the total time, as fielding complaints from students! There were a few heated exchanges in email, but thankfully, no one implicated me in their thoughts of suicide this time! On the upside, the instructor was so impressed with the hours I put into grading that he invited me to apply for one of the positions opening where he works.

So, now I need to update my resume and send it to the instructor. My work history is finally to the point where I can move it to the top of my resume and trim down my "relevant schoolwork" section. I haven't quite decided what I want to do with that section, yet, though.

I also need to write up a report for the class I took this semester. Even though the prof seemed disgusted with me and my work, my final grade in the course is an A! Yes, this means I'll be submitting the report AFTER having gotten my final grade. The deal he made with the class was, he'd get our grades posted on time as long as we got those reports to him by the end of May.
