I have been waiting all day for a snowflake challenge and come to find out it is only on the odd days of the month - not the even days. There is no challenge today. So I am waiting for nothing. Glad I figured that out since I waited all day for it. LOL. I am new to it so newbie mistake.

It seems like everyday there are more revelations about sexual harrassment and assault in the media. This is truly horrific and it is not surprising that it is so wide spread. Here I am. I have worked myself into exhaustion and sickness. I am resting this weekend to try and get ready for next week which is going to be a bear of a week with trainings and events prep. I spent a lot of my time on vacation seeing family and old friends and I got a call on Sunday from my old Boston roommate and her husband. They are stopping through town and I am having lunch with them tomorrow. It seems to be the season for reunions for me and getting in touch with people from the old town. So I just spent some time sending some love and supportive messaging. When there is so much negativity going around and criticism, I have found this community on LJ to be something that is where just niceness happens.
