So all is fine and the dentist says I am healing up well. He says that the pain I am feeling was probably caused by the additional jaw movement caused by having to talk while being at work etcetera. So I went back to work yesterday and that was exhausting and by the time I got home I was in so much pain it had me worried. I don't know if it was all the talking or what not but I felt really bad and worse! It still hurts and it hurts to laugh but I laughed today so that is good I guess. I have to laugh carefully, I suppose but that does not really work. Right out of the oven. I kid you not. I bought the pie right out of the oven. It smelled and looked so good. A mini pie and I am thinking I can mash it up and eat it that way. After the last stunt I pulled on the flist, I thought it appropriate that I truly vent my spleen here in truly ranty pants fashion. This thought occurred to me as I left the store, having bought those nice crunchy cheese puffs that I could not eat. Why did I buy those? Was I going to try and eat those? So the oral surgery went as well as those things do. The oral surgeon was excellent and super nice. I mean super nice. She explained everything as it was happening and had a great manner. I really thought I did not have any wisdom teeth but I was at the dentist getting my root canal finished (that went fine, thanks) and the dentist says - "Well, that is a surprise, look at that!" as he looks at the xray during the procedure. Elimination cooking programs. Specifically this one CHOPPED! I just love this idea. They get a basket of really hard to work with ingredients and then on the timer, have to come up with something edible, competitive and delicious all at the same time.
