The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are an indie pop band from NYC whose roots lie firmly in the 1980 UK indie scene. Think JAMC, Lazy Records era My Bloody Valentine, jangle pop, shoegaze and the purveyors of fuzzy pop everywhere. They consist of Kip Berman (vocals, guitar), Peggy Wang (vocals, keyboards), Alex Naidus (bass) and Kurt Feldman (drums). Feldman also plays guitar and sings in The Depreciation Guild.
