i've been in this situation before and i've waited the time before, just like my ex had done, waited as he got things out of his system... as he dated other people, as he tried new things, as he distanced himself from me... and i waited
and i missed out on some pretty amazing things while doing it
things end for a reason. and when they do end we only tend to remember the good things, the fun times, anything and everything positive. it's like a funeral when someone dies, you only remember the good things, the fun times, everything positive.
but where you as really happy as you think you are? in reading your previous posts during your time with him you seemed to always be wondering how he actually felt, telling him you loved him, not knowing where things were going... well you have your answer now. this isn't a fit. it feels nice. it was fun. but it's not your fit. don't waste years of your life waiting because TRUST ME... you will regret it miserably.
you can be sad, you will be sad. you're losing a connection with someone but it's FOR THE BEST. YOU are gaining from this... try to find your art again, is hospitality for you?
minus thinking of dan... what do YOU want to do in your life. because just having someone to call a boyfriend doesn't equal happiness.
