Well I know I can't be too long since I'll have to cook dinner for Dad and me tonight.
I'll try my best to sum up last year or so I guess... What I've been up to.
I know I did a LOT of reading, almost non-stop. Usually I don't read very much as I write/RP/read others' RP and my stuff, but there was some great manga and comics to discover--as well as a few great novels. I've borrowed quite a handful of books and manga from the library. Now I'm thinking a good place to find "Demon Seed" by Dean Koontz would be at the library. There's two different versions of it, too. It's this messed up sci-fi story that's supposed to be an artificial intelligence who becomes fascinated over the woman who owns the house and imprisons her within the house... Look it up. There's also this 1970's movie based on the first version of the book I think. It's the kind of interest that seems right up my alley.
I've still been playing board games with my mom and our friends on Friday evenings. That's always been fun, and lots of laughs. And our own board games collection has been gradually growing, and growing. We bought two games the both of us have always wanted for quite a while. Allahambra and Infinite City. They're both tile city building games that aren't very hard to learn. Infinite City is a little easier since you just basically do as the tile says. I've yet to get into that more... And Allahambra! I've been a VERY big fan of that game. You buy your tiles and arrange your city to make the longest connecting borders. If you have more than one of a certain colored tile then you'll get victory points for it. (I also have an Allahambra expansion that I bought a while back, and I thought it was the actual game when it really wasn't, lol. Have yet to try that out.)
I'm still kind of drawing things once in a while. I just never manage to keep myself inspired or motivated to draw more.
Mostly it's been the same old stuff. Rinse and repeat. I'll see about updating more hopefully soon.
