Bush is going to veto funding children's healthcare. Why did people vote for this asshole? I honestly don't understand even a tiny bit. And, no, I don't give a shit if your cigarettes cost more.

You don't understand why he's vetoing children's healthcare because you probably don't know much about how health insurance works in this country. Dad is an insurance professional so I get to hear all about this stuff.

When did you go to Wash U?

I know how health insurance works in this country. I just don't understand Republicans.

Not to belittle you, but I'm sure you don't really understand it that well. I know that I don't, but if my dad were here he could tell you probably about 15 reasons off the top of his head why the old system is better than the proposed one and why the proposed bill will only hurt everyone especially the people it's trying to help.

There was a similar law passed a few years ago in Illinois and it really screwed up the social health care system for impoverished youths. Remember, my friend, that there are no little laws and when politicians start trying to make policy they usually end up screwing it up.

I graduated going on 3 years ago now with a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.

I understand it well enough to know what I support and what I don't.
